As Auckland becomes the newest member of the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, join us to hear Mark Watts talk about the initiatives that cities around the globe are putting in place to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and climate risks. From Singapore to Stockholm, New York to Melbourne, C40 cities are making a practical difference to our shared climate future. 

As part of C40, Auckland will be working with more than 80 of the world’s greatest cities, representing 550+ million people and one quarter of the global economy. Sharing research, experiences and ideas, C40 is helping to find and implement innovative solutions to urban climate issues such as transport, energy, buildings and waste.

Auckland is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 40% in 2040.
